This course provides students with the techniques, strategies, resources, and tools for designing, developing, implementing and evaluating critical aspects of leadership in instructional technology issues will be addressed.
Project 1: Conducting a Technology Needs Assessment (Group Project).
- Part 1: Technology Needs Assessment Survey. In Part 1, the team will identify an instructional/training environment in a school or organization and develop a needs assessment survey.
- Part 2: Technology Needs Assessment Results Report. In Part 2, the survey will be administered to the stakeholders within the school/organization. The data will be analyzed and a needs assessment report will be generate.
Project 2: Planning a Technology Initiative (Individual Project).
- Multimedia Presentation. Create a multimedia presentation designed to provide an overview for your colleagues/peers of one of the steps for conducting a technology needs assessment as part of a technology-planning initiative.
